ST.
BART'S 8TH ANNUAL THANKSGIVING BASKET DRIVE
Last year, St. Bart's donated
complete Thanksgiving dinners to nearly 70 needy families. This year we hope
to do more! On Sunday, November 18, we will be collecting food and
delivering it to families living in transitional housing sponsored by
Interfaith Community Services in Escondido. Each basket will include all
the ingredients necessary to prepare a complete Thanksgiving meal, along
with recipes and instructions. Please visit the Thanksgiving Basket table
on the church patio between the 9:30 and 11:15 services on November 4 and 11
for more information and to pick up a shopping list. Please plan to
return all of the food items during the 9:30 service on Sunday, November 18.
We deliver the baskets to the ICS families after the 11:15 service on that
day.
